Cranberry Fluff Salad

Even the elegant Sky Room served a Midwest dessert salad. This salad was a seasonal favorite at various Dayton's restaurants in the 1970s, including the Sky Room in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Ingredients

  • 2 1-lb. pkg. fresh cranberries
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 10-oz. pkg. miniature marshmallows
  • 3 qt. whipped cream (approx. 1½ qt. whipping cream)

Instructions

  • Chop cranberries; add sugar, mix and let stand 30 minutes.
  • Add marshmallows and cream, then put into a mold.
  • Refrigerate before serving.
